Website security - SSL certificates have been added. An SSL certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates a website's identity and enables an encrypted connection. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer, a security protocol that creates an encrypted link between a web server and a web browser.
Companies and organizations need to add SSL certificates to their websites to secure online transactions and keep customer information private and secure.
In short: SSL keeps internet connections secure and prevents criminals from reading or modifying information transferred between two systems. When you see a padlock icon next to the URL in the address bar, that means SSL protects the website you are visiting. The padlock is on our website URL and the site is secure.
The menu on the right hand side needs to shortened and will be actioned by condensing subject headings, and relocating pages under the new headings. This will make the home menu smaller in length, giving a neater look to pages.
Theme/layout - We will be trialling new layout themes that are "responsive" and will display better across various sized devices.
Graphics update - to be remade in gold and purple to match club colours and breed promotional banners.
If you have any suggestions or contributions for the website please contact the club.

October 2022 Website News
As you may have seen the website is going through some changes. Some are minor and others are noticeable.
The current web site is meeting our basic needs, and looks great on the larger screens such as desktop, laptop, tablet and the larger screened phones. If viewing from a phone the layout may look different due to the screen size.
Existing content is being updated and reformatted to suit the new layout. New content is also being added.
The proposed plan is to overhaul this site and create and update the relevant content and utilise until such time that a site change is necessary.
A "responsive website" that is accessible on all devices including mobile phones will be essential to keep in line with current technology.
As the web site grows in size and content, it is anticipated that we may outgrow this site and may need to to move to a site that will meet the needs of the club going forward.
We value your opinion so if you have any suggestions for the website please contact the club.
